Women’s Basketball Suffers First Loss of Season
MOUNT VERNON, Ohio. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's basketball team (5-1, 0-1) fell to Spring Arbor University (6-1, 1-0) at Ariel Arena on Saturday, November 18.
The first half of the Crossroads League opener was close as MVNU only trailed 26-30. A dominant second half from Spring Arbor however sent MVNU to a 54-73 loss.

MVNU shot 37.9% (22-58) from the field and 30.8% (4-13) from three-point range. SAU shot 42.9% (27-63) from the field and 42.9% (6-14) from three-point range.
MVNU out-assisted SAU 19 to 15.
MVNU had trouble taking care of the ball as it finished the game with 24 turnovers.
