No. 20 Lady Cougars Pick Up Pair of Sweeps in Home Opener

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio. – The No. 20 Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's volleyball team (2-0) kicked off its home opener with a sweep over Rochester Christian University (0-1) by scores of 25-10, 25-9, and 25-20 in the opening match of the Park National Bank MVNU Classic on Friday, August 16.

In the second match of the day, the Lady Cougars made it a clean sweep against Indiana University East (1-1), winning by scores of 25-18, 27-25, and 25-17.

The Lady Cougars will be back home tomorrow, August 17 to complete the Park National Bank MVNU Classic against Madonna University at 4:00 pm.
