Lady Cougars Set Program Record at OWU Invite

POWELL, Ohio. – After a week off, the Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's cross country team competed in the OWU XC Invitational at Ohio Wesleyan University on Friday, October 4.

The Lady Cougars put forth a solid effort, placing fifth out of 17 teams with a total of 115 points in the 6000m.

Coach Taylor's Thoughts:

"Our women had a record-breaking night. They broke the school record for team time. Our top seven ladies all ran personal bests. I am very proud of the whole team's effort. They came focused and ready to go. All the Glory goes to God!"

MVNU runs in the Ray Bullock Invite at Taylor University on October 11 at 4:00 p.m.
