No. 16 MVNU Falls in Five-Set Battle with No. 19 Lancers

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio. - The No. 16 Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's volleyball team (17-2, 5-2) hosted No.19 Grace College (12-2, 6-1) in a top 20 battle on Wednesday, September 25 in Ariel Arena.

MVNU came out of the box hot, taking the first two sets (25-22, 25-17) from the visiting Lancers. After a nail-biting third set, MVNU fell 22-25. With momentum on its side, Grace took set four by a final of 25-18 and completed the reverse sweep with a 15-11 set five win.

The Lady Cougars will be on the road to Defiance College on Friday, September 27. The first serve will be at 7:00 p.m.
