Women’s Volleyball Improves to 7-0 After Sweeping Campbellsville and UNOH

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The No. 20 Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's volleyball team (7-0) continued its hot start to the 2024 season with another pair of sweeps in the final day of the Onset Invitational on Saturday, August 24.

MVNU had not lost a set all season and continued that trend against Campbellsville University (3-5) and the University of Northwestern Ohio (4-4). MVNU took the day's first match by scores of 25-14, 25-23, and 25-18. MVNU then closed things out against the Racers by scores of 25-18, 30-28, and 25-19.

Abbey Niemesh – 6 kills, 2 digs, 2 blocks

MVNU plays at the University of Rio Grande on Wednesday, August 28 at 6:00pm.
