
Snouffer Receives Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week from Crossroads League
JACKSON, Mich. — For the first time this outdoor season, Lyssi Snouffer of the Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's outdoor track & field team received the Outdoor Women's Field Athlete of the Week from the Crossroads League Conference on Monday, March 31.
Snouffer and the team competed in the Denison Lid-Lifter at Denison University on Saturday, March 29. Snouffer claimed first place in the high jump with a leap of 1.69m, earning an NAIA A Standard. Additionally, she secured first place in the long jump, reaching a distance of 5.24m.
Next, Snouffer and MVNU will head to the Cherry Blossom Invitational, hosted by Ohio University, on Friday, April 4.
