MVNU Competes at Harrison Dillard Twilight

BEREA, Ohio. - The MVNU track & field team competed at the Harrison Dillard Twilight, hosted by Baldwin Wallace on May 11-12.

 

Top Performers

The team of Marcus Whaley, Liam Near, Erich Rhodeback, and Evan Hodkinson were able to put together a great 4x400m relay to claim fourth overall. The team ran a time of 3:14.18 to hit the NAIA A standard.

Zach Jenney had a great day in discus, hitting the NAIA B standard. Jenney claimed sixth overall with a throw of 47.88m.

Connor Williams was able to put together a great race in the 110m hurdles to claim seventh overall, with a time of 14.70. Williams' race allowed him to hit the NAIA B standard.

Micah Tuggle competed in shot put to finish tenth overall with an impressive throw of 15.31m.

Chris Graber had a great performance to claim sixth in long jump with a distance of 6.88m.

The Cougars represented well in the open 800m dash to all finish within less than half a second of each other. Mason Hendrickson led the pack with a time of 1:57.62, followed by Alex Jenney with a time of 1:57.76. Noah Stephens rounded out the trio with a time of 1:57.95.

Isaac Ramseyer had a great run in the 400m to finish with a time of 50.78.

On the women's side Brooke Holloway represented well in the pole vault, clearing a height of 3.31m.

Lyssi Snouffer performed well in high jump to claim eleventh, clearing a height of 1.59m.

 

Upcoming Events

The MVNU track & field team will be competing in the NAIA Outdoor National Championships, hosted by Indiana Wesleyan University on May 24-26.
