Women’s Track and Field Places Second at Kenyon Invitational

GAMBIER, Ohio. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's track and field team competed at the Kenyon Invitational in Gambier, where they finished second with a team score of 149.

 

Top Performers

Shyanne Moser and Gracelyn Frame finished second and third in the shot put with throws of 11.75m and 11.67m, respectively.

Sage Brannon took first place in the long jump with a mark of 5.14m.

Brooke Holloway finished first in the pole vault with a mark of 3.5m.

Lyssi Snouffer placed second in the high jump with a mark of 1.57m. Snouffer also finished first in the 400m dash with a time of 1:01.47.

Jocelyn Dornbrier placed second in the 1500m run with a time of 5:01.96.

Maddie Kitchen took first in the 100m dash with a time of 0:12.95 seconds. She also won the 200m dash with a time of 0:27.10 seconds.

Ellyn Coe took first place in the 800m run with a time of 2:25.04.

The Lady Cougars are back in action on Thursday, April 27 as they head to North Canton, Ohio for the Walsh Tune-Up.
