Lady Cougars Compete at Knight Open

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The MVNU Women's Track & Field Team competed at the Knight Open, hosted by Marian University on Friday, March 31.

 

Top Performers

Ellyn Coe was able to put together an impressive race to take home fifth place in the 1500m with a time of 4:57.92.

Maddie Kitchen had a great day in the 200m dash to claim fifth overall in a time of 26.99.

Morgan Forney and Julia Kanagy were able to score for the Lady Cougars in the 5000m. Forney finished in fourth in a time of 19:34.70. Kanagy was not far behind to take sixth with a time of 20:08.76.

The team of Ashley Burgess, Lily Scarberry, Lyssi Snouffer, and Kaitlin Meade took home second in the 4x400m relay with a time of 4:11.46.

Rachel Wilson had a great day in triple jump to finish sixth while hitting a mark of 8.56m.

Brooke Holloway continued her impressive performance in pole vault to finish in third while clearing 3.35m.

Snouffer had a great day in high jump as well while clearing a height of 1.55m to take home fourth.

Gracelyn Frame placed sixth in shotput with a throw of 11.31m. Frame also placed eighth in the hammer with a throw of 34.36m.

 

What's Next

The MVNU Women's Track & Field Team will be competing in the Tiffin Extravaganza Meet, hosted by Tiffin University on April 14 and 15.
