Comets Shoot Past Women’s Tennis

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio. — The Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's tennis team fell to the Comets of Capital University at the Ramser Tennis Courts on Wednesday, October 2.

The final match score was 1-6, with the Lady Cougars winning a doubles match by Deah Bresson and Andrea Green (6-4), and Audrey Cochren winning a singles match (6-2, 3-6, 10-8). The win for Green in doubles was the first of her career.

What's Next

MVNU tennis will be playing in its final match of the fall season at home on Wednesday, October 9. The Lady Cougars will be taking on the Bears of Shawnee State, with the start time set for 3:00 p.m.
