Tennis Finds Success at ITA Regionals

MARION, Ind. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's and women's tennis teams battled at the ITA tournament, hosted by Indiana Wesleyan University on September 18-20.

 

From the women's tennis team, Audrey Cochran and Kiersten Winey, took first place in their doubles B draw. With the win, Cochran is a doubles champion for the second consecutive year at the event.

Deah Bresson, playing in a singles match, made it to the quarter-finals of her B draw in the tournament. 

The men's team also found some success during ITA's as Andrew Hare made it to the quarter-finals match in his section.

 

What's Next:

Both the men's and women's teams return home to take on the Pilots of Bethel University on Tuesday, September 24. The first serve will take place at 1:00 p.m.
