MVNU Tennis Falls at Shawnee State

PORTSMOUTH, Ohio. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University tennis teams traveled to Shawnee State University at the Daehler Tennis Courts for a match on Saturday, April 20.

Both teams would fall by a final of 0-7, but the doubles team of Matt Easter and Noah Hill was able to come away with a victory.

 

Women's Singles Results:

1. Vanessa Akuaku (SSU) def. Audrey Cochran (MVNU) 6-3, 6-2

2. Lacey Urban (SSU) def. Emily Allison (MVNU) 6-3, 6-4

3. Lexy Urban (SSU) def. Kiersten Winey (MVNU) 6-2, 6-2

4. McKenzie Harman (SSU) def. Megan Vollrath (MVNU) 6-3, 6-0

5. Brooklyn Foose (SSU) def. Deah Bresson (MVNU) 6-0, 6-0

 

Women's Doubles Results:

1. Lacey Urban/ Lexy Urban (SSU) def. Allison/Cochran (MVNU) 6-3

2. McKenzie Harman/Antonia Ilea (SSU) def. Vollrath/Winey (MVNU) 6-0

 

Men's Singles Results:

1. Abubakar Yakabu Lea (SSU) def. Andrew Hare (MVNU) 6-1, 6-0

2. Zayden Rinehart (SSU) def. Matt Easter (MVNU) 6-0, 6-2

3. Keenen Lambert (SSU) def. Austin Faucett (MVNU) 6-0, 6-0

4. Aiden White (SSU) def. Noah Hill (MVNU) 6-0, 6-0

5. Aiden Pine (SSU) def. Zane Menzie (MVNU)

 

Men's Doubles Results:

1. Zayden Rinehart/Keenen Lambert (SSU)  def. Hare/Faucett (MVNU) 6-3

2. Hill/Easter (MVNU) def. Matthew Justice/Aiden White (SSU) 7-5
