Tennis Bested by Gordon College

HILTON HEAD, SC. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University tennis teams played Gordon College on Saturday, March 2 in Hilton Head, SC.

The men lost to Gordon by a final score of 0-7. Despite the sweep, it was a very competitive match that featured a third set tie breaker loss by newcomer Lucas Grey.

The women would also fall by a final of 0-7, but Emily Allison and Audrey Cochran proved to be a bright spot as the tandem was able to pick up a doubles win. Cochran battled hard in singles as well, falling in a third set tie breaker. Deah Bresson would also fall in the same fashion.

 

What's Next:

Men's Tennis takes on Baldwin Wallace on Sunday, March 3 at 2:00pm in Hilton Head, South Carolina. The women will take on Pfeiffer University at 2:00pm as well.
