Tennis Begins Spring Season Against Dubuque

HILTON HEAD, SC. The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's and women's tennis teams began the spring season with a matchup against the University of Dubuque on Thursday, February 29.

The men lost by a score of 2-5 but saw a strong performance for the doubles tandem of Ben Kindberg and Andrew Hare, who achieved a victory for MVNU. Kindberg also won his singles matchup and freshman, Matt Easter walked away with a win as well.

The women lost by a final of 3-4. Audrey Cochran and Emily Allison got a doubles win for the Lady Cougars. Cochran stayed hot and got a singles win for MVNU too. Freshman, Deah Bresson claimed victory in singles during her matchup for MVNU.

Both team's take on Gordon College in Hilton Head, South Carolina on Saturday, March 2 at 10:00am.
