Lady Cougars Battle Foresters in Crossroads League Play
MOUNT VERNON, Ohio. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's soccer team (5-4-4, 0-2-4) took on the Huntington University Foresters (5-4-5, 0-3-3) in a Crossroads League matchup at CH4 Stadium on Wednesday, October 16.
The Lady Cougars had several opportunities to score in the first half, taking a total of seven shots on goal. However, they were unable to capitalize on those chances before halftime. The score remained at 0-0. At the 64:46 mark in the second half, Hannah Miller made a crucial one-on-one save to maintain the 0-0 scoreline. At the 89:44 mark, MVNU had a late chance, but narrowly missed wide to the right of the net. The Lady Cougars ended the match with another 0-0 draw.
