Women's Soccer Comes Up Short Against (RV) Siena Heights

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's soccer team (1-2) hosted the (RV) Siena Heights University Saints (2-0-1) at CH4 Stadium on Saturday, August 31.

It was a tightly contested contest between the Cougars and Saints. SHU secured the decisive goal at the 44:36 mark, just before halftime, earning the only score of the match at CH4.

The Saints outshot the Cougars 20-9, with SHU recording 13 shots on goal. Hannah Miller delivered an outstanding performance, making 12 saves throughout the night.

Siena Heights recorded a total of six saves during the game, with each of the two goalies contributing three saves.

Women's soccer is set to play at CH4 Stadium again on Saturday, September 7 for a 7:00 pm showdown with the University of Rio Grande.
