Women’s Basketball Sees Four Named to CoSIDA Academic All-District Team

GREENWOOD, Ind. – After a great 2023-24 in the classroom for the Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's basketball team, four student-athletes made the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team for the NAIA.

Peyton Davis (SR), Emily Walker (JR), Katie Sprang (JR), and Angela Roshak (SO) each earned a spot on the team. To be eligible for the nomination, each student-athlete must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 and must have participated in at least 50% of the team's games. Each school gets up to four eligible players for the honor.

The 2023-24 Academic All-District® Women's Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on April 16.
