
Men’s Volleyball Defeated by Lourdes
SYLVANIA, Ohio. — The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's volleyball team (4-16, 2-10 WHAC) traveled to Sylvania, Ohio to take on Lourdes University (9-7, 6-4 WHAC) on Saturday, March 22.
Lourdes claimed victory over the Cougars in the first set, dominating with a score of 25-10. MVNU faced a tough challenge in the second set, as they trailed Lourdes but managed to close the gap late. Despite their efforts, the Gray Wolves secured another win with a score of 25-14. In the final set, the Cougars couldn't seal the deal, and Lourdes wrapped up the match with a 25-18 victory.
Daniel Daly led the Cougars with five kills, while Austin Kolaczkowski contributed 15 assists throughout the match. Kolaczkowski, Tyler Monnin, and Xander Devault each had five digs to lead MVNU defensively.
What's Next:
MVNU men's volleyball team will return to Ariel Arena to take on Cornerstone University on Friday, March 28. The first serve will be at 7:00 p.m.
