MVNU Swept at No. 6 Cornerstone

GRANDE RAPIDS, Mich. The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's volleyball team (1-10, 0-5 WHAC) resumed WHAC play on Friday, February 21 at No. 6 Cornerstone University (10-1, 2-1 WHAC).

Cornerstone showed why it's a top-10 team in the nation as it dominated the first two sets of the match by scores of 25-11 and 25-10. MVNU didn't go down without a fight, but it ultimately dropped the third set 16-25.

Jackson Bush and Noah Wineberg each led the offense with 4 kills. Austin Kolaczkowski had 15 assists and a kill. Tyler Monnin anchored MVNU's back row with a match-high 12 digs.

 

What's Next

MVNU remains in Grand Rapids, Michigan for a match at Aquinas College on Saturday, February 22. First serve is set for 11:00 a.m.
