Cougars Swept at Goshen College

GOSHEN, Ind. The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's volleyball team (1-5, 0-2 WHAC) fell on the road at Goshen College (4-6, 1-0 WHAC) on Saturday, February 8.  

Goshen took all three sets, sweeping the match. In set one, the Cougars fought hard, narrowly falling 23-25. In sets two and three, MVNU kept things close, but ultimately fell by scores of 21-25 and 20-25, respectively.  

Ethan Cline led MVNU in kills with seven in the match. Daniel Daly had five kills of his own, while also contributing six digs and two blocks. Tyler Shields collected 18 assists on the evening and added three digs.  

 

What's Next 

The Cougars return to Ariel Arena to take on the University of Rio Grande Red Storm on Tuesday, February 11 at 7:00 p.m.
