
Men’s Volleyball Drops Match to No. 14 Campbellsville
CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — The Mount Vernon Nazarene men's volleyball team (1-1) traveled to take on the No. 14 Campbellsville (Ky.) University Tigers (3-2) on Friday, January 31, to open their weekend tri-match.
MVNU began its tri-match weekend with a 3-1 loss to No.14 Campbellsville. The Cougars struggled early, dropping the first set 25-10 and the second 25-18. They showed resilience in the third, rallying from a 22-21 deficit with four straight points to claim a 25-22 win. MVNU fought hard again in the fourth set but couldn't overcome the Tiger's lead, ultimately falling 25-20.
Daniel Daly led the team with an impressive 11 kills. Jackson Bush also delivered a strong performance, recording 8 kills and 2 block assists. Noah Wineberg contributed 7 kills and a block assist. Cole Custodio had a team-high 13 digs and also had 4 assists. Austin Kolaczkowski made a significant impact with 24 assists and a service ace, while Will Stemen provided defensive strength with 3 block assists.

The MVNU men's volleyball team will wrap up their weekend tri-match in Campbellsville, Kentucky, with a matchup against the No. 12 Reinhardt University Eagles at 4:00 PM on Saturday, February 1.
