MVNU Loses to Lawrence Tech in WHAC Quarterfinals
MOUNT VERNON, Ohio. – The fourth-seeded Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's volleyball team (14-11) hosted the opening round of the WHAC Tournament against fifth-seeded Lawrence Tech (13-14) on Tuesday, April 16 inside Ariel Arena.
LTU started strong, winning the first set 14-25. The Cougars responded with a 25-23 second set win but fell in set three 12-25. With its season on the line, MVNU battled back to win set four 25-17 to force one final set. The Blue Devils pulled away toward the end of set five and would go on to win 15-12 to advance to the conference semifinals.
