Stanley Surpasses 1,000 Career Kills in Win at Aquinas
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The (RV) Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's volleyball team (6-1, 4-1) picked up another WHAC win on the road at Aquinas College (2-8, 0-3) on Friday, February 23.
MVNU swept the hosts by scores of 25-16, 25-23, and 25-16. The story of the match was Spencer Stanley, who surpassed 1,000 career kills. The senior from Mount Vernon, Ohio entered the match five shy of 1,000 and finished the night with a match-high 17 kills.

Stanley hit .414 on the night and added four digs and a service ace.
Jaysen Matsumoto had a match-high 34 assists to go with eight digs and two kills.
Luke Funte had a match-high nine blocks to go with four kills.
Landon Ewers hit a blistering .556 and had six kills. Ewers also added a block.
