MOUNT VERNON, Ohio. — No.3 Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's volleyball (19-8) hosted No.6 Cornerstone University (19-12) in the WHAC Tournament Quarterfinals on Wednesday, March 29.
The contest marked the first time each team had ever participated in the WHAC tournament. MVNU entered the match with recent wins over the Golden Eagles on Friday, March 24 and Saturday, March 25 on the road. Each of those matches went five sets and were very hard fought.

It appeared as if MVNU had finally found some momentum but unfortunately for the Cougars the Golden Eagles turned it up, taking set three 25-14.
