ATHENS, Ohio. —  The Mount Vernon Nazarene University track & field team competed in the Cherry Blossom Invitational at Ohio University on Friday, April 4.

 

Men's Top Performers:

Jackson Loyd, Jaden Haldeman, Samuel Haley, Bryce Wiles (4x100m Relay) – First overall, 42.19 seconds

Marcus Whaley, Haldeman, Seth McCloskey, Haley (4x400m Relay) – First overall, 3:23.80

Haley (400m) – First overall, 49.79 seconds

Marshall Carr, Simon Rohwer, Reed Johnson, Daron Porter (4x400m Relay) – Second overall, 3:29.10

McCloskey (400m) – Second overall, 50.11 seconds

Evan Hodkinson (800m) – Second overall, 1:53.07

Whaley (400m Hurdles) – Second overall, 54.57 seconds

Loyd (200m) – Third overall, 23.28 seconds

 

Women's Top Performers:

Marissa Rutter, Kate Ruffle, Maddy Lengacher, Lyssi Snouffer (4x400m Relay) – First overall, 4:07.66

Ashley Yoder, Caitlyn Shipley, Louisa Hallabrin, Ellyn Coe (4x400m Relay) – Second overall, 4:27.05

Rutter (100m Hurdles) – Second overall, 15.32 seconds

Snouffer (High Jump) – Third overall, 1.55m

Lily Scarberry (400m Hurdles) – Fifth overall, 1:17.43
