Hodkinson Named to CoSIDA All-America First Team

AUSTIN, Texas. After a tremendous season on the track and in the classroom, Evan Hodkinson has been named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America First Team on Wednesday, July 10.

Hodkinson was named to the NAIA All-America First Team after recently being named to the NAIA CoSIDA Academic All-District Team in June. Hodkinson, who is from Dalton, Ohio is set to return to MVNU for his senior campaign in 2024-25.

The biology major had a 3.94 GPA during the academic year. Hodkinson was an All-League performer in the 4x800 at the Crossroads League Indoor Championships and was a conference champion in the 1000m run. Hodkinson's time of 2:26.25 ended up being a meet record, and he was named the Most Outstanding Athlete of the competition as a result.

Hodkinson later earned All-American status at the NAIA Indoor National Championships as he finished as the national runner-up in the 1000m run with a time of 2:25.30.
