Cross Country and Track Have Nine Make CoSIDA Academic All-District Teams

GREENWOOD, Ind. – The men's and women's Cross Country and Track & Field Programs had nine total student-athletes land on the CoSIDA Academic All-District NAIA Teams.

On the men's side, Micah Tuggle (SR), Evan Hodkinson (JR), Marcus Whaley (JR), Mason Hendrickson (SO), and Tyler Shipley (SO) each earned a spot.

For the women, Rachel Wilson (SR), Ellyn Coe (JR), Brooke Holloway (SO), and Gracelyn Frame (SO) took home honors.

The CSC Academic All-District award is given to a student-athlete who maintains a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average while having reached sophomore status academically. Individuals must also have been nominated by their Sports Information Department to make the list.

Each cross country and track team is allowed up to five nominations, with selected CSC Academic All-District recipients advancing to the ballot for CSC Academic All-America honors. Those awards will be voted on by members of CSC from around the nation and will be announced on July 9.
