Track & Field Has Multiple All-League Performers at Conference Meet

MARION, Ind. — The Mount Vernon Nazarene University Track & Field program competed in the Crossroads League Outdoor Track & Field Championships, hosted by Indiana Wesleyan University on May 2-3.

MVNU's men placed third out of 10 teams with 95 total points, while the women finished 10th overall with 20 points.

 

Men's Top Performers:

Tyler Shipley – Conference Champion – Pole Vault – 5.00m (Tied all-time meet record.)

Liam Near, Bryce Wiles, Jaden Haldeman, Marcus Whaley – All-Conference – 4x100 – Second Place – 41.24

Haldeman – Conference Champion – 110m Hurdles – 14.72

Connor Williams – All-Conference – 110m Hurdles – Second Place – 14.84

Haldeman – Conference Champion – 400m hurdles – 53.08

Whaley – All-Conference – 400m Hurdles – Second Place – 53.94

Seth McCloskey, Whaley, Near, Isaac Ramseyer – All-Conference – 4x400 – Third Place – 3:20.12

Mason Hendrickson – 3000m Steeplechase – Sixth Place – NAIA "B" Standard – 9:27.21

 

Women's Top Performers:

Brooke Holloway – All-Conference – Pole Vault – Third Place – 3.55m

Lyssi Snouffer – All-Conference – High Jump – Second Place – 1.71m

Gracelyn Frame – Shot Put – Sixth Place – 12.45m

Ashley Burgess, Ally Potter, Snouffer, Lily Scarberry – 4x400 – Sixth Place – 4:07.65
