Men Hit Multiple Standards at Tiffin Track Carnival
TIFFIN, Ohio. - The MVNU Men's Track & Field Team competed at the Tiffin Track Carnival, hosted by Heidelberg and Tiffin University on April 14 and 15.
Top Performers
Micah Tuggle had a great day in shot put, taking third overall after hitting an NAIA "A" standard mark of 16.37m.
Kyler Dickey placed sixth in the shot put elite group with an NAIA "A" standard throw of 15.98m.
Jaden Haldeman was able to complete a great race in the 400m dash, hitting an NAIA "B" standard and school record time of 48.22. Haldeman claimed second place out of 57 competitors. Liam Near also had a great performance in the 400m to finish in seventh with a time of 49.15.
Haldeman hit an NAIA "B" standard in the 110m hurdles as well, running a time of 14.75.
Marcus Whaley was able to achieve a NAIA "B" standard of his own in the 400m hurdles, running a great time of 54.36.
Evan Hodkinson ran an impressive race in the 800m, hitting the NAIA "B" standard and breaking the school record with a time of 1:52.14. Hodkinson claimed fourth overall after winning his heat.

The MVNU Men's Track & Field Team will be competing in the Kenyon Invitational and Jesse Owens Classic, hosted by Kenyon College and Ohio State University on April 21 and 22.
