Track & Field Has Strong Showing at Muskie Meet

NEW CONCORD, Ohio. —  The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's and women's track & field teams competed in the Muskie Meet, hosted by Muskingum University on Saturday, January 18.

The men placed first overall out of 13 teams with a total of 93 points, and the women placed second overall out of 14 teams with 90 points.

 

Men's Top Performers

Mason Hendrickson (3000m) – First overall, 8:57.37.

Daron Porter (Mile) – First overall, 4:32.26.

Ryan Lehman (Mile) – Second overall, 4:32.54.

Jaden Haldeman (60m hurdles) – First overall, 8.21 seconds.

Haldeman (400m) – First overall, 51:21 seconds.

Seth McCloskey (400m) – Second overall, 51.23 seconds.

McCloskey (200m) – First overall, 22.79 seconds.

Bryce Wiles (60m) – Second overall, 6.84 seconds.

 

Women's Top Performers

Lyssi Snouffer (High Jump) – First overall, 1.70m, NAIA A Standard, school record.

Snouffer (400m) – First overall, 59.76 seconds.

Ashley Yoder, Maddy Lengacher, Ellyn Coe, Tammy Liplin (4000m DMR) – First overall, 12:44.05.

Coe (1000m) – First overall, 3:07.30.

Julia Kanagy (3000m) – Second overall, 11:28.21.

Marissa Rutter (60m hurdles) – First overall, 9.26 seconds.

Shyanne Moser (Shot Put) – First overall, 12.80m.

Brooke Holloway (Pole Vault) – First overall, 3.50m.
