
Men’s Soccer Caps Senior Day with Win Against (RV) Knights
MOUNT VERNON, Ohio. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's soccer team (6-4-6, 3-3-2) hosted the (RV) Marian University Knights (12-3-2, 5-2-1) in its final Crossroads League regular season home match on Saturday, October 26, at CH4 Stadium.
MVNU secured the huge 1-0 home victory over the Knights, marking a memorable win as it honored its seven seniors Aaron Jolly, Caio Carrara, Jordan McMahon, Zack Bowser, Daniel Martinez, Diego Shaw, and Sam Hershey for their dedication to the program.
Martinez stole the show on senior day as his goal in the 79th minute proved to be the game winner.
