
Martinez Named Crossroads League Offensive Player of the Week
JACKSON, Mich. – Daniel Martinez of the Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's soccer team has been named the Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week by the Crossroads League on Tuesday, September 10.
The junior from San Pedro Cholula, Mexico had a phenomenal week for the Cougars. Martinez scored his first two goals of the season in the team's 4-0 win against Defiance College and then scored again in the 2-2 draw at Campbellsville University.
Martinez and MVNU men's soccer return to action at CH4 Stadium tomorrow, September 11 against Great Lakes Christian at 4:00 pm.
