
Haney Shatters Program Record with Impressive 10-Goal Performance
HAMBURG, New York. — The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's lacrosse team (10-3) hit the road to Hilbert College on Saturday, March 29.
MVNU controlled the game from start to finish, securing a dominant 19-2 victory. They outperformed Hilbert, who managed just two goals —one in the first and one in the fourth quarter. MVNU's steady offensive effort, with six goals in the first, five in the second, seven in the third, and one in the final quarter, ensured the commanding win.
The key goal scorers were Ethan Haney with 10 goals, Kaden Tinner with three, Tyler Dickerson with two, Chandler Giauque with one, Ryan LaAsmar with one, Angelo Elia with one, and a team goal. Haney's 10-goal performance set a new program record for most goals in a single game.
