Cougar Golf Competes at Rumble at the Rock
PERU, Ind. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's and women's golf teams competed at the Rumble at the Rock contest, a two-day invitational on September 20-21 at the Rock Hollow Golf Course.
The MVNU men's team finished in eighth place out of eleven, posting a combined score of 657 (335, 332). Jack Mayle stood out for the Cougars, securing 24th place with a two-round total of 160 (79, 81).
On the women's side, Devon Carpenter finished 17th place out of 50 participants. She wrapped up the invitational with a total score of 168, navigating the first round with an 82 and following up with an 86 in the second round.
