Bowling Hosts Crossroads League Tournament No.4 in Mount Vernon

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio. — The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's and women's bowling teams hosted the fourth Crossroads League Bowling Tournament of the season at Colonial City Lanes in Mount Vernon, Ohio.

The men's team placed fifth out of seven with a score of 6204 on the day. After a slow first game, the women rallied together and finished the day in fourth place with a tally of 6232. The score for the women was a new school record.

Both teams represented well as there were five top 25 finishers amongst them. James Blaney placed tenth with a new four-game series best of 784. Blaney also rolled a personal best game of 233. Kobe Green placed 13th with a score of 764. The freshman also rolled a new game-high score of 248. Hannah Vaughn finished the day with a score of 707, while Paige Hicks was right behind her in 20th with a score of 702. Justin Brown wrapped up the top 25 for MVNU with a 23rd place finish and score of 737.
