Yarborough Earns First Career Bowler of the Week Honor

JACKSON, Mich. – Marlin Yarborough of the Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's bowling team earned his first career Crossroads League Men's Bowler of the Week honor on Monday, October 24.

The freshman from Columbus, Ohio medaled as fourth place All Conference Varsity Team, while finishing 7th overall. Yarborough was able to break the MVNU Men's single game record with a score of 265. Overall, Yarborough threw a 921 (251, 265, 203, 202) on the day in Columbus.

Yarborough and MVNU bowling return to action in the Ohio Bowling Conference Tournament No. 3 on November 19. The tournament will take place at Palace Lanes in Columbus, Ohio at 9:45am.
