COLUMBUS, Ohio. — The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's bowling team placed 8th out of 17 teams at the Ohio Bowling Conference, scoring 6774 as a team on Saturday, October 22.

Top Performers

Freshman, Marlin Yarborough medaled as fourth place All Conference Varsity Team, finishing 7th overall. Yarborough was able to break the MVNU Men's single game record with a score of 265. Overall, Yarborough threw a 921 (251, 265, 203, 202).

Jacob Burre finished second for the team and 53rd out of 108 total bowlers with a score of 775 (229, 193, 179, 174).

Chase Miles rounded out the top three for MVNU finishing in 66th with a total score of 741 (191, 191, 180, 179).

MVNU will be competing away at the Ohio Bowling Conference Tournament 3 on November 19 at 9:45am.
