MOUNT VERNON, Ohio. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's basketball team (3-0) hosted Harris-Stowe State (1-5) on Friday, November 10 on the first day of the MVNU Homecoming Classic inside of Ariel Arena.
MVNU took care of business on its home floor as it defeated the guests by a final of 95-69.

MVNU shot 54.3% from the field and 26.7% from three. Harris-Stowe shot 50.9% from the floor and 33.3% from deep.
MVNU had 22 assists to only 11 turnovers on the night. The team forced 20 turnovers on defense.
