Cougars Begin NECC Playoffs
MOUNT VERNON, Ohio. — The Mount Vernon Nazarene University esports team begins their National Esports Collegiate Conference (NECC) playoffs run this week for League of Legends, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Rocket League, and Overwatch 2.
LEAGUE OF LEGENDS — After 7 weeks of competition in the East A conference, the Cougars qualified for the East Playoffs with a (4-3) season record as the 7 seed. On Tuesday, Novemeber 12, they will face off against Midway University in their quarterfinals match at 6:30 p.m. Spectators may watch the match in-person in Foster Hall, located on the upper level in Ariel Arena or online here: MVNU Esports Broadcast.
