Women’s Volleyball Extends Win Streak to Five with Two More Sweeps

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – No. 20 Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's volleyball (5-0) began play in the first day of the Onset Invitational, hosted by the University of Saint Francis on Friday, August 23.

MVNU opened the day with a sweep against Indiana South Bend (0-4) by scores of 25-20, 25-8, and 25-13. The Lady Cougars then extended their winning streak after defeating Fisk University (1-5) by scores of 25-17, 25-19, and 25-16 in the second match of the day.

The Lady Cougars take on Campbellsville University (11:00 am) and the University of Northwestern Ohio (3:30 pm) tomorrow, August 24 on day two of the Onset Invitational in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
