Men’s Basketball Falls to Spring Arbor

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio. The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's basketball team (4-1, 0-1) fell to Spring Arbor University (6-2, 1-0) 90-75 in its Crossroads League opener on Saturday, November 18.

   

Inside the Box Score: 

MVNU shot 36.9% from the floor and 23.7% (9-38) from three. Spring Arbor was 64.7% from the floor and 38.5% (5-13) from three.

MVNU forced 14 turnovers with SAU forcing 9. 

MVNU had 29 rebounds compared to 39 for SAU.

Kade Ruegsegger – Team-high 22 points (7-16 FG, 5-8 FT), 6 rebounds, 2 assists. 

Trent Koning – 19 points (6-18 FG, 4-4 FT), 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals. 

Beau Ludwick – 10 points (3-9 FG, 4-4 FT), 2 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals.
