Billman Named Crossroads League Baseball Player of the Week

JACKSON, Mich. – The Crossroads League has announced that Mount Vernon Nazarene University catcher/infielder Hunter Billman is the league's Baseball Player of the Week. The honor for Billman is his first career Player of the Week honor.

Billman has had a great start to the season and this past week, the sophomore hit .346 (9-26) with three homeruns and 11 RBI. The Utica, Ohio native also scored five runs and had a stolen base.

Billman and Cougar baseball will be back at Cougar Field for their home opener on Friday, March 10 as they host Grace College for a doubleheader, starting at 2:00pm.
